Workshop Info

Come join me September 5th and 6th at the beautiful Richmont Inn in Townsend, Tennessee. Townsend is at the edge of the Smoky Mountain National Park but unlike other areas inside the park area, this little town is not heavily developed and remains rural and lovely. The Richmont Inn is a cantilevered barn structure in a special setting atop a wooded hillside. Owner Jim Hind is a serious enthusiast and a wonderful host. A night at the Richmont will be a pleasant memory for you for years to come. I guarantee you will want to come back! There are places to paint all around the inn and in the nearby area. I plan on doing some plein air and also relating it to studio painting. Since many of us work from digital photos, we need to know how to look at photos with a painter's eye. This will be my first workshop at the Richmont and I think it is going to be great fun! I look forward to meeting you in Townsend!

Tuition is $125.00 for the two day workshop. I will supply sanded board for the students to use. Class size is limited to ten students. Bring pastels, easels and whatever gear you need to be comfortable and ready to paint.
