I have always enjoyed walking in a field. There is so much to see! It was very natural for me to end up a landscape painter. Each artist needs to find what sort of art suits their personality. I like the quote attributed to Renoir in his student days. His instructor criticized his attitude saying "We're not in this for fun" and Renoir responded that if it wasn't fun for him there was no point in doing it.
