A few weeks ago I watched some river otters in the Holston River. My photographer friend Jeff wanted to get some photos of them so with the help of our fisherman friend Tom, we set out with our cameras to go otter hunting. From our little boat I was able to get some new viewpoints. Despite the overcast day there was some beautiful fall color. We found the otters and Jeff got a great photo of one otter munching on a smallmouth bass!
