About the Bays Mountain Park Series
This park is a real jewel in our Kingsport, Tennessee community and is one of the largest city owned parks in the country. The park is left in a protected natural state so is home to many deer and turkeys that seem oblivious to human visitors. The lake at Bays Mountain is one of my favorite painting spots, especially in the fall when the Sourwood trees are a splendid red and reflect in the calm water.
